New application portal for the recognition services
The application portal for recognition of foreign qualifications has been redesigned. During a transition period, applicants will experience some changes in the portal. On this page, you will find information about what these changes mean for you.

From September 2026, the application portal will have a new design. The aim is to make it easier for you to navigate the portal and track your application. In the updated portal, you will get:
- a new homepage
- a guided tool that helps you find the correct recognition service
- a better overview of the application process
- easier access to messages, making it simpler to contact your case officer
Transition period
We are updating the application portal in stages. As a result, both the new and the old versions of the portal will be available for a period of time. This means that in some cases you may be redirected to the old portal.

No. You log in the same way as before.
If you already have an account in the application portal, you do not need to create a new one.
We are updating the application portal in stages. During the transition period, some services and features will be available in the new portal, while others will remain in the old one.
