BRAVO II - Strengthening Cooperation on Recognition of Vocational Qualifications
The BRAVO II project contributes to expanding the role of the NARIC network in the field of vocational qualifications. It also aims to enhance European cooperation and to create new arenas for dialogue and networking in recognition of vocational qualifications.

About BRAVO II
Based on outcomes and recommendations of the BRAVO project, BRAVO II seeks to strenghten recognition of vocational qualifications through network establishment, capacity building, and information sharing. Recognition of vocational qualifications across borders is vital for meeting EU priorities in the fields of mobility, meeting labor market needs, and ensuring equitable access to education and employment.
This project aims to enhance collaboration among ENIC-NARIC centers and key stakeholders through unique approaches in each work package. By building on existing initiatives and exploring innovative solutions, the project will address challenges related to transparency and efficiency in the recognition processes.
The project is structured around these key activities and deliverables:
- Formalising a network dedicated to recognition of vocational qualifications
- An online platform for network cooperation and infromation reprository for education systems and recognition schemes
- Staff exchanges between recognition centres and stakeholders
- A Toolkit for recognition of general secondary education, vocational education and training and post-secondary vocational education
- A Conference on Recognition of Vocational Qualifications for Credential Evaluators

Project Kick-off in Brussels 7-8 October 2025
The members of the BRAVO II project met in Brussels in October 2025 for a kick-off meeting. It was an opportunity to strengthen the cohesion of the project team, go through different aspects of the project management and update the working plan for the different work packages and communication plan.
BRAVO II is a 2-year follow-up project from BRAVO, and is co-funded by the EU. The project ambitions are to facilitate international cooperation on recognition of vocational qualification through;
- creating a formal network of NARICs and other relevant centres working with recognition of vocational qualifications.
- to create arenas for exchange of best practices and enhance capacity building.
- to develop a toolkit for credential evaluators.
- project members also discussed the organization of a conference on recognition of vocational qualifications in early 2027. So stay tuned!
