Time and date: 3 December 2024 09:00h- 3 December 2024 16:00h
Location: Norway House, Rue Archimède 17, Brussels • In-person | • Virtual

About the event

The Erasmus+ project EQUAL - European Qualification – Refugees and Recognition invites stakeholders to engage in a discussion on how to improve refugees’ access to studies and work through fair recognition of their qualifications, even in cases where they are missing documentation.

Building on previous Erasmus+ projects Toolkit, REACT, and ARENA, the EQUAL project has supported NARIC centres in developing policies and procedures for recognition of refugees’ qualifications. The conference will showcase the results of the project in a broader context of recognition as a means to facilitate refugees' and displaced persons' access to higher education and work, and explore how the results can be scaled up at national and international level.

Keynote speakers and presenters include representatives of international organizations, ENIC-NARICs, higher education institutions, and stakeholder organizations. The conference targets representatives of ministries and government bodies, the European Commission, ENIC-NARIC centres, higher education institutions, international organizations, and refugee organizations.
