Læring i Nord 2023: Validation of all prior learning?
This year’s conference will focus on validation of prior learning as an entry point to education and training. To meet the demand for skills now and in the future, the supply of qualified workforce must be increased through multiple pathways to education and competence.
About the event
At these annually held conferences, we shed light on selected and relevant topics that align with the goals of the European Skills Agenda and the Nordic Council of Minister’s Vision 2030. This conference is one of the Norwegian events that marks the European Year of Skills. Læring i Nord serves as an arena for sharing knowledge and experiences within career guidance, training and education for adults, both within and beyond the formal education system across Nordic and other European countries.
Event organizers
The organizers of the conference are EPALE Norway (European Platform for Adult Learning and Education) and NVL Norway (Nordic Network for Adult Education), in collaboration with the Norwegian Directorate for Higher Education and Skills (HK-dir), which is the host organization for EPALE and NVL.
The organizers share common goals, including contributing to and facilitating the sharing of knowledge, experiences, and tools that enable adults to participate in both formal and non-formal education and training throughout their lives.
