Future of Education: The Contribution of the EEA Norway Grants
The Norwegian Directorate for Higher Education and Skills (HK-dir), in close cooperation with the Czech Liaison Office for Education and Research (CZELO) and The Norwegian Contact Office for Research, Innovation and Education (Norcore), is pleased to invite EU representatives, EEA Norway Grants stakeholders, and experts in eduation and international cooperation to learn about EEA Norway Grants results and achievements, and to explore potential synergies with European level initiatives.
We are celebrating the conclusion of the EEA Norway Grants 2014-2021(24) and would like to share lessons learnt and key outcomes from the more than 700 education projects in nine beneficiary countries under this mechanism to explore the EEA Norway Grants’ contribution to addressing the future challenges in the education sector.
As we are progressing towards the next financial mechanism 2021-2028(31), we take the opportunity to explore the potential for stronger synergies with EU measures within the field of education.
Objectives:
- Provide the participants with a deeper understanding of the EEA and Norway Grants as a funding instrument and explore how the education programmes can contribute to European policy priorities and address specific funding gaps.
- Illustrate how the EEA and Norway Grants can serve as a steppingstone to future participation in Erasmus+ actions.
- Offer insight into opportunities for future EEA and Norway Grants education programmes to create synergies with European level initiatives.
